About the Opportunity

\n

We are partnering with a highly funded, early-stage startup looking for their founding Business Development Representative to act as their very first sales hire. You will own the top of the funnel and help build their go-to-market engine from the ground up. Working daily alongside the founders (with zero middle management in between), you will target multi-unit hospitality and restaurant operators, spark conversations, and book qualified meetings.

This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor, directly co-create a sales machine, and transform how the restaurant industry operates. We back this expectation with a $50,000 - $60,000 Base and a $75,000 - $85,000 OTE . If you want unparalleled early-stage ownership and massive growth potential, this is your shot.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Top of Funnel: Run highly personalized outbound campaigns via cold calls, LinkedIn, and email targeting multi-unit food and beverage operators.
\n
• Generate Qualified Pipeline: Handle replies, qualify interest, and successfully book meetings with ops and finance decision-makers.
\n
• Master the CRM: Maintain impeccable CRM hygiene—ensuring every touch, reply, and outcome is meticulously logged.
\n
• Co-Create the Sales Engine: Collaborate directly with the founding team to refine messaging, build target lists, and improve the overall GTM strategy based on frontline feedback.

Qualifications

• The Experience: Zero sales experience? No problem, as long as you possess unmatched drive. Whether you have 1+ years in outbound sales or you are a highly competitive entry-level professional ready to hustle, we want to talk to you. Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is a massive bonus.

• Competitive Background: You don't need to be a pro to work here. Whether you are a military veteran, a former collegiate athlete, or someone who loves the thrill of competition, your discipline and work ethic are your resume.

• The Execution: Completely comfortable on the phone—navigating gatekeepers, leaving impactful voicemails, and maintaining a consistent daily process.

• The Mindset: Intensely curious, highly organized, coachable, and eager to seek out feedback to rapidly improve your craft.
