Job Description

The Sales & Distributor Specialist (SDS) supports inside and field sales teams by managing patient opportunities for the Eversense CGM system, and coordinating order fulfillment through the appropriate distributors. The role maintains serviceable health plan data by distributor, routes patient orders, updates Salesforce (SFDC) records, and ensures distributor reporting is accurate and current. The SDS partners with distributors to meet service level agreements (SLAs), collaborates with internal teams to reconcile consignment orders, and manages order activity within the Parachute system. Additionally, the SDS works with Sales Operations to maintain accurate distributor inventory levels and support efficient patient fulfillment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure patient opportunities are researched and sent to the correct distributor for fulfillment on a daily basis
• Ensure patient order updates that are received from distributors via trackers, shipped reports and emails are encompassed in the SFDC system to provide the most current opportunity status
• Analyze the distributors pipeline to ensure they are meeting the agreed upon service level agreements for order processing so that each patient is handled efficiently
• Hold weekly calls with each distributor to review patient accounts so that orders are processed timely
• Work to develop and maintain the most up to date health insurance and distributor in-network relationships to aid in funneling patients to the correct distributor
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information to the sales team, distributors and executives by using the right methods/tools/resources
• Assist the Sales Ops team with onboarding of new distributor partners as well as continued training for existing distributor partners
• Work alongside the consignment team to ensure consignment orders within the SFDC system are updated upon insertion
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and company policies and procedures

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ Durable Medical Equipment/pharmacy/diabetes market related experience
• Proven customer service experience
• Experience in the diabetic supply industry, preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Salesforce a plus
• Computer literacy: e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
